When I realized I wasn’t physically keeping anything back from my litter, I inquired about the Fergus x Pixie litter lovingly raised by Katheryne Stoural of Sterling Kooikers, who I share a mentor with. Kermit is a cousin to the puppies, so it was really exciting to be able to keep something from a similar pedigree.

Huge thank you to Katheryne for trusting me with your pick girl, and to Deborah Bean of Carousel Kooikers for evaluating them and matching her with me. Also special thanks to Joelle Jacob who drove her up with her Dobie squad on such short notice. This was truly meant to be! She is everything I could want in a puppy:

For now, little Kermie is decompressing from her journey and meeting the dogs of the house little by little. We will be playing show dog soon, and performance when she’s old enough!
